Thank you to the Zonta Club of Bundaberg for your support and guidance during these challenging times. Again the Bundaberg community wraps their support around the region’s residents.Natural disasters, such as the flooding we are currently experiencing in Bundaberg can be triggering events.

Research and evidence have shown that in the aftermath of a natural disaster instances of domestic and family violence increase and mental health decreases.

Heightened emotions, increased stress, financial pressure, loss of shelter, isolation and being cut off from emergency and support services can amplify already volatile situations.

If you are in need of assistance please utilise the numbers below and as always in an emergency situation call 000 immediately. Support is always available and in times like these it is important that we look out for one another.
